Edith Carolyn Sabin

Edith “Carolyn” Sabin, age 83, of Comstock Park, was called home on Friday, April 4, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sabin, parents; Don and Ardis Lamoreaux, mother and father-in-law, L.J. and Marguerite Sabin; sisters, Donna Klungle, Pam (Don) Perkins; and her nieces, Toni Perkins, and Kelly Jo Lamoreaux; cousins, Jerry and Jo Ann Wilson.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Louis Jr. (Holly) Sabin, Brian Sabin, Michael Sabin; grandchildren, Samantha Sabin, Louis Sabin III, Ryan Sabin, Lucas Sabin, Zachary (Olivia) Sabin, Ty Gerbers, Karter Kamminga; siblings, Donald (Mary Jo) Lamoreaux, Alice (Tom) Matthews; brother-in-law, Lynn Klungle; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, April 10 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont. Burial will be held at Blythefield Memory Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
