Earl “Red” Notenbaum

Earl Robert “Red” Notenbaum, age 90, of Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Red valiantly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was a loving family man and a dedicated volunteer at American Legion Post 179. He was preceded in death by three sons, Robert, Richard, and Randy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marie; children, Carol and Michael Ohren, Sherry Notenbaum, Barb and Bill Bigler, Diane Ramos, Patricia and Robert Fisher, Denise Seymour, Earl Notenbaum Jr., Raymond and Robin Notenbaum, Janet Notenbaum, Donna Jean Rosas; 23 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11 am at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1630 Godfrey SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Steve Dudek Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, where a vigil service will be held at 8 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Church or Alzheimers Association of West Michigan.
