Earl Howard Hudson

Earl Howard Hudson, age 79, of Wyoming,  passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, and will be spending his first Christmas in heaven with Jesus. He was kind and loving, with a steady presence and a gift of simple, practical wisdom. His quiet faith guided the way he lived and the way he loved. A devoted husband and father and a wonderful role model, he led by example rather than words. Earl had a soft spot for animals, a lifelong love for classic and hot rod cars, and a natural talent for anything mechanical. Whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the outdoors, he found peace in nature and joy in life’s simple moments. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Hudson. Earl will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Ann; his children, Joe and Anna Hudson, Ken Hudson, Earl and Annette Hudson; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim, Jerry, Steve, Larry, Judy, and Cora; several loving extended family members. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, December 23, 2025  at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 1-2  p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
