Earl G. Smith

Earl G. Smith, age 87, of Wyoming went to be with his Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; son-in-law, Larry Lierman. Earl will be lovingly remembered by his children, Earl Lee and Tammie Smith, Cheryl and Kim Myers, Renae LaBine, Katherine and Michael Mercer, Elizabeth Lierman; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
