Dylan Kevin Mathews

Dylan Kevin Mathews, age 28, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Robert and Marianne Mathews; sister, Jessica and Kyle Bartnick; niece, Brynn; nephew, Graham; aunts and uncles: Charlie and Sharon Winter, Cathy and George Lohmann, Susan and Joe Sharp, Diane and Doug Hay, Janet and Jim Fawcett, Bret and Debbie Mathews, Craig and Amy Mathews; cousins: Charlie, Kristin, Brett, Jason, Michele, Doug, James, Melinda, Kadin, Cassiel, Caitlin, Michael, Brock, Jack, Max, Grant, Hannah, Drew, Ryan, and Henley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles and Catherine Winter, Robert and Minnie Mathews; uncle, Kevin D. Mathews; cousins: Brian Winter, Christopher Lohmann, Kyle Mathews. Dylan was a spirited man with a contagious smile. He enjoyed making people laugh with his dry sense of humor; producing and performing in humorous short films and videos, enjoyed traveling, and most of all, he loved his family and spending time with people, in person and on video games. His intelligence in technology made him the dependable “help desk” to his family members and friends along with many others around the globe as an employee at Storj. He will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home,4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
