Douglas   LeCoy

Douglas LeCoy Douglas Andrew LeCoy, age, 52, of Grand Rapids, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus following a lengthy battle with ALS. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane LeCoy. He will be dearly missed by his loving daughter, Crystal LeCoy, mother, Ruth LeCoy, brothers, Dennis, and Dave LeCoy, nieces, Kelly and Jennifer LeCoy.  Doug was a devout Christian who loved to praise God in song and was a member of the Kentwood Community Church choir.  He was devoted to his daughter and loved spending time with her tending and riding horses.   He was also a Master Carpenter who took pride in his woodworking abilities, and loved to help friends and family with home projects.  He was an outdoorsman and adventurer who enjoyed skiing, hiking, and boating.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 11:00 AM at Kentwood Community Church, 1200 – 60th Street SE, Kentwood, MI.  Relatives and friends may meet the family 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Interment Alaska Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the needs of the family.
