Douglas Bolle

Douglas Bolle, age 76, of Alto went home to be with his Lord unexpectedly, on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Doug proudly served in the U.S Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Georgia Bolle, brother, Chuck Ludwig; brother-in-law, David Akkerman; and parents-in-law, Tony and Joyce Akkerman. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, of 40 years, Ronda Bolle; children, John and Christina Bolle, Wayne and Tammy Bolle; grandchildren, Jessica and Scott Russell, John and Brittany Bolle; five great-grandchildren, Aiden Grimshaw, Wyatt Russell, Cooper Russell, Reece Bolle, Easton Bolle, and Olivia Bolle; sister, Lavon Holden; sister-in-law, Kelly Akkerman; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dan Spaulding officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday from 1-2 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Open Bible Church.
