Douglas Armstrong

Douglas Ray Armstrong, age 69, of Hudsonville, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, after a private, courageous battle with cancer. Doug enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and being with his family. He was also passionate about food and cooking. As a self-proclaimed foodie, Doug treated those around him with his exceptional culinary skills. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Kim; their children, Sean (Pilar) Armstrong, and Aubree Kowalski. He will also be remembered by his mother, Lois (Victory) Armstrong; his sisters, Sharon (Dan) Christy, and Sandra DeKraker; his sisters-in-law, Chris Clark, and Nancy (Kevin) Kelly; and his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and a great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Armstrong; and parents-in-law, Peter and Betty Steensma. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
