Dorothy VanSetten

Dorothy VanSetten, age 83, of Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, after battling Alzheimer’s disease for 15 years. She is now at peace as she rejoices with our Lord and Savior.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Lisa Manley (Lewis), Chari Mead (Joe), Rose Dahms (Mitch), Rich VanSetten (Deb); grandchildren, Mikala Breen (SPC Damian), Dylan Manley, Dustin Angevine, Alexia Sukenik (David), Michelle Allerding (Chad), Nicholas Dahms (Mandy), Bradley Dahms (Megan), Justin Dahms (Julie), Kendra VanSetten, Tyler VanSetten (Alissa), Shelby Weller (Scott); ten great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Esther VanHouten, Ruth TeBos (Marv), Grace Pluger, Edward VanHouten (Joyce); sisters-in-law, Rita VanHouten and Agnes VanHouten. Dorothy will be remembered for her strength, love, courage and perseverance.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW,  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or Faith Hospice.
