Dorothy Mae Heldt

Dorothy May Heldt, aged 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Dorothy was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Harold and Regina Reese, and later lived in Chicago, IL, Lockwood, MO, De Soto, MO, and Grand Rapids, MI. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Harold. She is survived by her children, Valerie (Patrick Hopkins) Heldt, Vickie (James) Hutson, Roger (Maria) Heldt, Randy Heldt, Vivian (Michael) Kesar, and Venita Wilson; as well as grandchildren, Matthew, Dan, Maureen, Mallory, Danielle, Jack, Paula, Rachel, Cameron, Aaron, Natalie (Matthew), Ethan (Rachel), Avery, Jonah, Ross (Amy), and Zachary (Jamie). Her surviving great grandchildren include Piper, Margot, Nora, Melody, Alara, Emery and Sloane. Dorothy was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, and a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. A funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1934 52^nd Street SE, Kentwood with Rev. Michael Wentzel officiating. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the church on Friday from 10-11 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to God’s Kitchen, 303 S.
