Doris   Venhuizen

Venhuizen, Doris Doris (Bouwer) Venhuizen, age 90, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 17, 2013.  She and her husband, Don, were members of First Allendale Christian Reformed Church where Doris faithfully played the organ for 60 years.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Don; sisters-in-law, Maryann Wiersma of MA, Tena Glupker of Holland; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sisters and brother, Jean VanHouten, Jay Bouwer, Ruth Kuzee.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott), 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Rev. Tim Howerzyl officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to In Touch Ministries with Dr. Charles Stanley or First Allendale Christian Reformed Church.
