Doris Marie Bockman

Bockman, Doris Marie Doris Marie Bockman (Swanson), age 86, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl F. Bockman, sister, Gloria Schultz, and granddaughter, Lindsey Davis. Dory is lovingly remembered by her son, Art (Bonnie) Davis; stepchildren, Phil Bockman, Ginny (Randy) Bubeck, Kathy (Dale) Allers, Ron (Mary) Stellard, Linda (Wayne) VanderJagt, Sharon (Bruce) Duimstra; grandchildren, Courtney (Jim) Moskal, Jessica Davis, Chad (Kathy) Bubeck, Jennifer (Mark) Walmer, Jill (Ted) Bier, Luke (Destiny) Bubeck, and her great grandchildren. Dory graciously gave her time to Santa Claus Girls, Meals on Wheels, and Mel Trotter Ministries. Memorial services will be held on Monday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. with Pastor Doug Van Doren officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
