Doris Hilde Metz

Doris Hilde Metz, age 80, of Grandville, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 11, 2017. She was reunited with her sons, Chucky and David Duimstra. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Kurt Metz; children, Sibille Doris (Jason C.) LaMontagne, James (Lori) Duimstra, Kimberly Kaye Duimstra; grandchildren, Iris McKillop, Adrian (Jessica) Jones, Daniel Jones, Talon LaMontagne, Taylor Duimstra, Rhema LaMontagne, Seth Duimstra; her sister, Charlotte Boensel; and her beloved pets. Doris was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 14, at 12 noon in the chapel at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden, 2894 Patterson Rd. SE, Grand Rapids with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Instead of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Crash’s Landing cat rescue, 1545 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
