Doris Anne Aguirre

Aguirre, Doris Anne Doris Anne (Stucki) Aguirre was born May 5, 1936 in Monticello, Wisconsin. She was born again in 1957 . . . and from that day on faithfully loved and served her Savior throughout her life. In her final battle with cancer, she fought a good fight, finished her course, and kept the faith. He welcomed her Home on December 5, 2013. Doris grew up and attended schools in southwest Wisconsin. She attended the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music and was a Missionary in Argentina. There, she met her husband, Evangelista Felipe (Philip) Aguirre. They were married on March 17, 1966 and became parents of three children. In 1972 the family moved to the US and settled in Grand Rapids. Where they have lived up to the present time. Doris was a homemaker, a loving mother to their children, and a devoted grandmother to their 10 grandchildren. She and her husband pastored a church for a time.  Doris was a friendly, outgoing person and had many friends who loved her. She was always available to people, willing to stop whatever she was doing to help someone in need. Their home was always open and everyone was warmly welcomed. They graciously provided housing for visiting relatives, missionaries and others who needed a home. She had contact with a wide range of other Christians and had a gift of bringing pastors and missionaries into contact with one another for mutual benefit and blessing.
