Donna Sills

Donna (Sikkenga) Sills, age 74, of Jenison, passed into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born on August 21, 1948, to Harold and Eleanor Sikkenga. She was a loving and faithful servant of her Lord and loved others like Jesus did. She will be missed, but never forgotten as the caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend of those who remain on earth. She is survived by her best friend and partner in everything, Jeff Sills; her four sons: Kristopher (Amy) Sills, Kevin (Danielle) Sills, Kreg (Stacey) Sills, and Kurt (Kylee) Sills; her grandkids whom she loved so unconditionally: Isaiah, Mason, Kendal, Gavin, Bryson, Brayden, Hagirsa, Noah, and Evie; and her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nephews and nieces. Donna’s work on earth is done and she did it so well. We know that she is in the arms of Jesus who is telling her, “Well done, Donna, my good and faithful servant!” Visitation will be held at Cottonwood Church, 1101 Cypress Dr., Jenison, on Thursday, July 27, from 5-7 p.m. as well as on Friday, July 28, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A celebration of Donna’s life will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Yezelalem Minch, a community development non-profit, non-governmental organization that seeks to provide comprehensive care for orphaned and vulnerable children in Ethiopia
