Donna Lorraine Schouten

Donna Lorraine Schouten (Bos), age 82, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Randall and Irvin Bos; and her sister, Arlene Ostman. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that treasured her family. She was blessed with a friendly and kind personality. Donna was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her gift of cooking with others. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Ray Schouten; son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Mary Schouten; grandchildren, Ashley and Adam Rousseau, Chelsey Schouten (Robert Toppel); Courtney Schouten; great-granddaughter, Abree Toppel; brother, Jerry and Kathy Bos; sister, Pat Uecker; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Tunis and Peg Schouten, Gordon Ostman; former daughter-in-law, Jan Schouten; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Pastor Larry French officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Blvd, Holland, MI 49423.
