Donna Lee Bahlman

Donna Lee Bahlman, age 93, of Kentwood, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Fred, in 2014, and her parents, Henry and Lena Klopfenstein. 

Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who held her family close to her heart, treasuring every moment spent with them. During her retirement, she and her beloved husband, Fred, traveled the world together, sharing many adventures. They also shared a love for ballroom dancing. Donna enjoyed playing card games with her friends—especially when she won. In her free time, she found joy in sewing, a craft at which she truly excelled. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Liz (Brian) Green and their children, Jayde (Aaron), Connor (Miranda), Halle (Abe); Lee (Lauri) and their children, Ryan, Rachel; Kris Bahlman (Brian Hayward) and their children, Kenzi (Brandon), Tana, Noah; great grandchildren, Carter, Jensen, and Malia. 

Visitation will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1-2 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood with a 2 pm funeral service to follow at the funeral home with Brian Hayward officiating.  A private family graveside service will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or a charity of one’s choice.
