Donald Oosterbroek

Donald Oosterbroek, age 81, of Hudsonville, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Don was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He loved his family deeply and cherished his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Marti; children, Terri and Dave Thompson, Tom and Pam Oosterbroek, Tami Mitchell; grandchildren: Chris and Samantha Thompson, Casey Thompson, Allyssa Thompson, Kelly and Kaase Boer, Ashley and John Winkle, Tyler and Ryanne Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, Jared Mitchell, Emily and Rob Elliott; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mart and Bob DeBoer; sisters-in-law, Carol Vryhof, Bev Buikema; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Wellspring Community Church, 4466 Bauer Rd., Hudsonville with Pastor Steve Gibson officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, January 16 from 5-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. An additional hour of visitation will be held from 1-2 pm at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Resurrection Life Church - Michelle Longstreet Mexico.
