Donald Lee Yost

Donald L. Yost, age 85, of Rockford, was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Don was a loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and uncle with a huge heart for helping others. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from West Side Beer Distributing. He enjoyed collecting classic cars and attending car shows. He loved vacationing, especially going on cruises. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family. He was truly content in life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; daughter, Coreen Yost; son, Don Yost. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Tyrone Yost; daughter, Becky Yost; daughter-in-law, LeaAnn Jackson; his special friend, Dianne Lake; grandchildren, Rachel Yost and Stephanie Yost; great-grandchildren, Jamison, Colton, Anna, and Maxon; several loving nieces, nephews and many dear friends.  Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, November 17, 2025 at MKD Funeral Home, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Interim Hospice.
