  Donald Jay VanDer Ploeg, age 87, of Allendale, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 20, 2015. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Dorlene; children, Paul VanDer Ploeg, Thomas and Mary VanDer Ploeg, Ruth and Jack MacDonald, Peter and Heather VanDer Ploeg, Jim and Mary VanDer Ploeg, Lois and Ben Biber, Mary and Joe Durant, Deb VanDer Ploeg, John VanDer Ploeg, Joe and Michelle VanDer Ploeg, David and Melody VanDer Ploeg, Sam and Jan VanDer Ploeg; 34 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Arleen and Arnie Kooienga; brothers, Marvin VanDer Ploeg, Bob and Tiiu VanDer Ploeg, Wendell VanDer Ploeg; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jo Glass, Bea Creamer, Delbert and Millie Glass, Kathy Everett, Loie Glass, Wayne Glass, Wesley and Nel Glass, Karen Wissink, Richard and Phyllis Glass. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92^nd Avenue, Allendale, with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating. Interment Rusk Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the church.
