Donald E. Poeder

Donald E. Poeder, age 84, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Nancy; son, Ronald “Jim” Poeder; brother, Jack Poeder; sister, Jane Smith. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sheri and John Lechel, Terri and Dave Klump, Ron Parmeter, Dave Parmeter, Elizabeth; grandchildren, great grandchildren; brother, Bruce and Pat Poeder; sister, Betty nieces and nephews.  Don proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
