Don R. “Scottie” Scott

Don R. “Scottie” Scott, age 79, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and is reunited with his parents who preceded him. He is survived by his sister, Ardis LaPointe; many nieces and nephews. Don lived at Harbor House Ministries for the past 9 years, receiving love and compassionate care from the wonderful staff and caregivers. He established many friendships there, and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017, at 3:30 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor John Frye officiating.  Interment Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2:30 - 3:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Harbor House Ministries.
