
Domingo Herrera, age 81, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 17, 2025. Domingo was 1 of 7 children born to Eladio and Julia Herrera, and grew up in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Domingo and Enilda have been married since 1968. Domingo worked for Nelson Metals in Wyoming for 25 years. They bought a home in Wyoming and lived there for 53 years. Domingo and Enilda recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. Domingo and Enilda enjoyed going up north every Labor Day to walk Mackinaw Bridge. They also enjoyed taking trips to National Parks. One of Domingo's favorite places was Yellowstone National Park. He enjoyed making birdhouses and working in his basement on other woodworking projects over the years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eladio and Julia Herrera; siblings, Crusita Herrera, Angel Herrera, Julita Herrera, Saida Herrera. Domingo will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Enilda; children, Aileen and Scott Brisbin, Enilda and Todd Harig; grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Brisbin, Cameron and Kenzie Brisbin, Zachary Brisbin, Thalia Brisbin, Brittany and Jason Baas, Shelby and Rob McGuire, Hunter Harig; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Nilda Herrera, William Herrera. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Steve Cron officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 12:30 pm until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
