Dianne Kaye Rose

Dianne Kaye Rose, aged 76 of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home to be in the loving arms of her saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 13, 2019 and is now at peace with Him. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Kaye Hough. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gerald; children, Jon and Raeleen, Robb and Emilie, Molly and Michael, Brian and Nicole; grandchildren, Dan and Elizabeth, A.J., Sarah and Logan, Ethan, Nate, Felicia, Abby, Mia, Kelsey, Atticus, Dahlia, Odette, D.J., Coley, Jake, Isaac, Hannah, Gianna, Noah, Aiden and Jonathan; sisters, Sharon Cleary, Lorrie Bookbinder; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Dianne was a loving, caring, kind wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her two defining traits were her solid, reverent, love of God and love of family. She had strong convictions and was known to help “train” the priests who came to the parish. She was at church so often that some of the school kids told others she was the lady who owned the church. Dianne was never idle but was always involved in family activities and church groups, Bible study, and implementing the Rosary recitation prior to all weekend masses. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends and became known as the neighborhood cookie lady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday, October 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:30 pm, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.
