
Diann Lorie Cisler, age 69, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, October 9, 2023. She was a very active, loving, warm, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Diann loved to bake and learned to decorate cakes while attending a local technical school, and baked cakes for over 30 years. She also enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, but leave out the black pepper! Crocheting was her avocation. She crocheted baby blankets and afghans which she gave to her family and community. She enjoyed playing dice and board games with her family and singing karaoke and going to the American Legion with her friends. She was employed at GE Aviation for over 30 years, following in her father’s footsteps. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William; grandson, Kale Nicholson; brother, Al Koons. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Christopher (fiancée Jenna) Cisler, Jason (Lindsey) Cisler, Cassandra (Jon) Schlaf, and step-children: Tammy (Michael) Nicholson, Terri (Michael) Long; grandchildren: Keegan Cisler, Kyleigh Cisler, Averie Matheny, Britney Cisler, Blake Cisler, Breslyn Cisler, Carter Schlaf, Chase Schlaf, Addalynn Schlaf, Kyle (Jessica) Nicholson, Casey (Zack) McNees, Cameron (Jessica) Truax, Kenneth Anderson; 6 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 50th St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Zachary Marklevitz officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, as well as on Friday from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grace Lutheran Church.
