Diane Kay Datema

Diane Kay Datema, age 70, of Wyoming passed away unexpectedly to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. 

She found joy in playing video poker at the casino, and was known for her gentle and kind spirit. She cherished time spent shopping with her granddaughter, Jordan, creating memories that will be forever treasured. A talented cook and baker, she expressed her love through the meals and treats she prepared for family and friends. Above all, she was selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Snyder. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years Dannie “Dan” Datema, children Derick Datema and Daniel (Bridget) Datema, brother Dennis (Donna) Snyder, granddaughter Jordan Datema, lifelong friend Dale (Zip) Stevens, additional nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, April 18  at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 pm at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.
