Dennis Diekevers

Harry Dennis Diekevers, age 80, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene; son, Scott; and eight siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Dee; children, Lisa and Ron Bessey, Deb and Chris Essling; step-son, Rodney and Denise Denton; grandchildren, Josh and Elizabeth, Chris and Megan, Katie and Kraig, McKenzie, Hannah and fiancé Morgen, Abby, Zoey, Kayla, Kasey, Amber, Tyler; nine great grandchildren; siblings, June and Carol Diekevers, Sharon Morren; extended family and friends. Dennis was family-oriented, and he put others first. His family was the light of his life, and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being at their cabin in the U.P. Dennis was a jokester and could fix and build anything. He worked for 27 years at Kelvinator and 10 years at Diekevers Roofing. A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date. The burial will take place at Kent Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
