Dennis Craig Kruisenga

Dennis Kruisenga, age 69, of  Kentwood passed peacefully at home on Monday, January 13, 2025. He was born April 24, 1955 to the late Henry and Virginia Kruisenga. He was predeceased by a brother and sister in-law,  Tom and Christine Kruisenga; sister in law, Deb Thayer; and a nephew, Derek Kruisenga.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna; a son, Nick (Aislinn) Kruisenga; a daughter, Becky (Dominick) Ronchetti; grandchildren, Taeghan, Dominick, Addison, Kamryn, Emma and Brady.  Also surviving is a brother, Rick (Annemarie) Kruisenga; a sister, Mary (Chris) Cooper; two brothers in law; Bill (Deb) Thayer, Ed (Jan) Thayer; close cousin, Ralph (Liz) Johnson. He was blessed with a lifelong best friend, Pat (Nancy) Hemholdt; and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Denny enjoyed being outdoors; you could find him fishing in Canada and hunting Up North. He was a proud supporter of U of M football.  His favorite hobby was golfing where he had a standing tee time at LE Kaufman with friends. Denny and Donna enjoyed taking trips to Orange Beach in Alabama and camping together over the years.  His true passion was to make sure he attended all of the grandchildren’s events. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
