Delores Tombs

Delores Joanna Tombs, age 79, of Wyoming, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2020. She enjoyed reading, genealogy and she loved animals and feeding the wildlife near her home. Most of all, she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jim Jr. (Tammy) Tombs, Merri Carpenter, Ann (Dan Porter) Parker; grandchildren: Chris (Emily) Tombs, Amber (Patrick) Carr, Jessica (Shane) Vandeventer, Craig (Amanda) Carpenter, Steven (Christina) Parker, Andrew Parker, Ryan (John Bylsma) Tombs; great grandchildren: Alexis, Mercedes, Camry, Allianna, Lincoln, Noah, Myra; sister, Maxine Laster. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at Balcom Cemetery in Ionia, Michigan, where she and her husband will be laid to rest together. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
