Dawn Anstett, 77, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on March 12, 2022 surrounded by family and loved ones. She lived most of her life in and around Grand Rapids where she enjoyed walking, biking, nature, flower gardens, birds and being at Lake Michigan. Shopping with friends and finding a good bargain gave her great pleasure. She attended and served for many years at her local church, Heritage Baptist. Her life verse was Phil. 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” She loved Jesus, her Bible and prayed faithfully for many. She has now gained her heavenly home for Eternity. Our Mom, Sister, Granny and Friend will be dearly missed and always remembered. Dawn was preceded in death by her husband Bob Anstett, and her brother Doug Julian. She is survived by her two children Keven Anstett, Shelly Mick, her brother Melvin Julian and her one and only grandson Mav. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life service held in her memory on March 17 at 2 pm at Kentwood Community Church, 1200 60th St. SE, Kentwood. Family will visit with guests at a dessert reception to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, Dawn’s desire was to donate to Heritage Baptist Church Missionary Fund: Ryan and Abigail de Roos.
