David Waring

David Lee Waring, age 80, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was a loving husband and proud father of three boys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Anna Waring; and sister, Pat DeWent Goeman. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Waring; children, Tom and Cheree Waring, Dale Waring, Brian Waring; grandchildren, Joshua, Elliana, and Zachary Waring, Issy Doornbos; sister, Mary and Gary Wierenga; brother, Bernie and Rita Waring; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Michele Schepers, Norma Schepers; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, August 7, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Christian High School.
