David Snoeyink

David Alan Snoeyink, age 65, of Grandville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, March 5, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marge Snoeyink; his children, Meghan and Dan Nyhof, Kyle and Dani Snoeyink; step-mother, Thelma Snoeyink; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Gwen Snoeyink, Jim and Pat Snoeyink, Steve and Cindy Snoeyink; in-laws, Doris Gritter, Mae and Ron Scholten, Kae and Bob Kingma, John and Judy Gritter, Beane and Scott Lynema, Don and Nancy Gritter; many nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Geraldine Snoeyink; and his father-in-law, John Gritter. Dave loved and appreciated his family and his friends. He enjoyed spending time with them, especially at the cottage. He loved sports, both participating and watching. Dave will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 1 PM at LaGrave Christian Reformed Church, 107 LaGrave Ave SE, Grand Rapids, with Rev. Ruth Boven and Rev. Peter Jonker officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
