David E. Schultz

Schultz, David E. David E. Schultz, age 66, of Hudsonville, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 22, 2015. He was a kind and selfless dad, grandpa, brother, and friend who was always concerned about others. Wherever help was needed, he was always there to lend a hand. David was a custodian for West Side Christian School where he faithfully worked for 19 years until he retired in 2008. Most recently, he worked at Cornerstone University in the Security Department. Dave also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Schultz. He is survived by his mother, Doris Schultz; sisters, Lois Schultz, Rita and Steve Randolph; children, Tim and Julia Schultz, Amber and Jamie Venema, Sarah and Sean Kellum, Holly and Matt DeZwaan; 11 grandchildren; mother of his children, Barb Schultz; and many loving family members in the Gladwin area. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Interment will be held at Blythefield Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to West Side Christian School or Visiting Angels.
