David Lee Ingham, age 79, of Belmont, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on December 11, 2022. He was loved dearly by many friends and family and will forever be remembered for his clever ingenuity, charming sense of humor and his commitment and passion for all that he believed. Professionally, Dave dedicated 43 years to Lear Siegler, Smith’s Aerospace, and GE Aviation. With a career in Engineering Research and Development, he took pride in his work and was instrumental in the first computer aided design system with Lear Siegler, also the company that once employed his father. Dave was raised in a musical family and naturally talented at acoustic and electric guitar. He would play his favorite songs for hours inviting those around him to join-in on the experience. A true jack-of-all-trades he also excelled at architecture, cooking and jewelry design. He was instrumental in the building of his 2 family homes and applauded by his inner circle for the best salsa and gazpacho in town. He loved skiing in Colorado and took three memorable trips to Italy with wife and best friends, Bonnie and Joel, with whom they shared a cottage for 24 years. He was especially relatable and could charm a stranger in seconds, always entertaining with an embellished story and connecting with ease to their own life experience. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Wilma Ingham; his brother, Robert Ingham and his sister, Linda Rector. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 32 years, Rosalyn Baker-Ingham, his children: Lori Talo, Scott Talo, Rebecca Ingham, Jodi Ingham, stepdaughter Jenifer Millonzi; grandchildren: Amanda (Matt) Crampton, Molly Oosdyke, Cole Giroski, great-grandchild: Ethan Crampton; his brother, Steve Ingham; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol Guppy and Rick Rector; previous wives, Sandy Talo and Connie Ingham, many nieces and nephews; his lifelong closest friends, John VanStraten, Wally Bujak, Jay Bowers, Tom Adams; and his beloved cat, Pepper. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 28, at 11am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont.
