David Lee Hassevoort

David Lee Hassevoort, age 51, of Blendon Township, passed into his eternal life on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. He worked at Sara Lee for 32 years before working most recently at Leprino Foods in Allendale for the past 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward, Jr. and Gertrude Hassevoort; brother-in-law, Ken Ter Horst; nephew, Keith Ter Horst; great nephews, Preston Pepper and Hudson Vugteveen. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his sisters and brothers, Judy Ter Horst, Karen (Jerry) Berghorst, Jim (Dee) Hassevoort, Loren (Linda) Hassevoort, Kathi (Dwight) Vugteveen, Betty (Terry) Cooper, Paul (Sandie) Hassevoort, Mark (Lori) Hassevoort; many nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Becky Diep. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 am at North Blendon Christian Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor, Hudsonville, with Pastor Aaron Vriesman officiating. Interment Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale.
