David James Rinck

David Rinck, age 67, of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 3, 2025. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He enjoyed his job as a machine operator for Hearthside Foods for around 30 years. He loved music, animals, and was a big movie aficionado. More than anything though David had a true passion for helping others and would bend over backwards to assist someone in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jean Rinck; step mother, Pat Rinck;  his step siblings, Cheryl Bolt, Randy Howard, Ron Howard; brother-in-law, John (Linda) Amante. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sue; children, Josh (Natalie) Rinck, Autum Valk, Ryan Zmudka, Chloe Zmudka, Alyssa Rinck; grandchildren, Brooke Rinck, Emma Valk; siblings, Janet (Jerry) Licari, Robert (Amy) Rinck, Carol (Terry) Larson, Joan (Bob) Sendecker, Kathy (Todd) VerHage; step brother, Reggie (Lanai) Howard; siblings-in-law, Sharon (Jack) Dietz, Marian Vos, Tom (Tami) Amante; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2024 at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
