
David Bruce Holst, age 82, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
Dave was the proud owner of Havit Supplies and A&B Rentals, businesses he built through years of hard work, integrity, and dedication to serving others. He loved bocce ball. Dave’s greatest joy came from his family. He shared many years and adventures with his wife, Dodie, the love of his life. Together they enjoyed time with family at the cottage on Green Lake or Bradenton, Florida. Dave spent many years as a Cadet leader with his church. The last remaining of ten siblings, he was a kind and generous man who will be dearly missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Dodie; his children, Ben and Laurie Holst, Terri and Terry Buist, Nicole and Rafael Ruvalcaba, Jason and April Holst; grandchildren, Kyle and Alicia Holst, Jake Holst, Kaitlin and Derek Mulder, Trisha Wustman and Aaron Lovell, Caleb and Nick Ruvalcaba, Shelby, Zach, and Alex Holst; six great-great-grandchildren; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Woodhaven Reformed Church, 3959 68th St. SW, Byron Center with Pastor Cameron Townley officiating. Burial will take place at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday, January 5 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Woodhaven Reformed Church.
