David DeBruyn

David DeBruyn, age 80, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy DeBruyn; brother, Martin DeBruyn; and brother-in-law, Robert Havens. David was born on November 18, 1944, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Richard and Ella DeBruyn. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ross DeBruyn, Troy and Jane DeBruyn, Travis and Kim DeBruyn; daughter-in-law, Carrie DeBruyn; grandchildren, Kelsi and Margeaux Seymour, Kyler and Madison DeBruyn, Kassidy DeBruyn, Christina and Ryan Zevalking, Makayla DeBruyn, Collin DeBruyn, Alec DeBruyn, Baileigh DeBruyn; great-grandchildren, Piper and Carter Zevalking; siblings, Joan and the late Gordon Campbell, Mary and Mel Eggleston, Richard and Debbie DeBruyn, Kathy and Jim Munson, Barb Dinger, Pat and John Fynewever, Ruth and Steve Adams; and several loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, with Pastor Jim Munson officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
