David Alan Kuiper

David Kuiper, age 68, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Lynn Kuiper; father, Clarence Kuiper; parents-in-law, George and Edith VanStrien; and sister-in-law, Deb Kuiper. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Lori; children, Jill (Jeremy) Thull, Sara (Josh) Lubbers, Joe (Kathleen) Kuiper, Michelle (Tony) Gruppen; grandchildren, Jimmy, Brooke, Bella, Charlie, and Lucy Thull; Kelly (Tony) Kooiker, Jake, Nick, Alayna, Luke, Mike, and David Lubbers; Lyla, Jonah, and Isaac Kuiper; Johnny, Allie, Grace, and Emily Gruppen; great-grandson, Oliver Kooiker; his mother, Grace Kuiper; siblings, Dick (Bev) Kuiper, Joyce (Gary) Noorman, Don (Gail) Kuiper, Steve Kuiper, Judy (Steve) Kamps, Joan (Kevin) Kooima; siblings-in-law, Judy (Ron) Westra, Pete (Jan) VanStrien, Mark VanStrien, George VanStrien; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Southwest Protestant Reformed Church, 4875 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville with Rev. David Noorman officiating. A private family burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday, November 6 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Protestant Reformed Special Education.
