Darlene Marie West

Darlene Marie West, 65, of Wyoming MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at the age of 65. She was a loving mother to her four children, who were the center of her world. She loved them deeply and took great pride in watching them grow, supporting them through life’s milestones. For 35 years, she shared her life with her beloved partner, Jeff Walters. Together they built a life full of fun memories, companionship, and unwavering love. She had a special love for gardening. Whether she was tending flowers, planting something new,  or simply enjoying the beauty of her yard. She found peace and joy in watching things grow. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and the way she made those around her feel. She leaves behind her mother, Scharlene Southwick; partner of 35 years, Jeff Walters; her four children, John West, Tina West, Anthony (Johana) West, Joshua West as well as her grandchildren, Riko West, Bryson and Eliana West; her sister, Sherry Southwick and loving nephew, Alton Southwick. She was preceded in death by her father, John Southwick; she will be deeply missed and forever loved. Per her wishes, she will be cremated. Private family farewell will be held at a later date.
