Darlene Fauble, age 70, of Wyoming, passed away following a lingering illness on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 and went to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Fauble and her brother, Ray Fauble. She retired from Spectrum Health after 36 years. Darlene was formerly a member of Hillcrest Chapel, Franklin Street CRC, and Rogers Heights CRC. She enjoyed spending time with her family, babysitting her nieces and nephews, reading, camping, walking the Mackinac Bridge, and making rice and broccoli casserole. Surviving are her mother, Barbara Fauble; sisters and brother, Gloria Fauble, Kathy McIntyre Fauble, Pastor Douglas and Claire Fauble, Penny and Philip Thomas; nieces and nephews, Mark and Shannon Fauble, Tara Fauble-Pierce, Erin and Michael Velzen, Andrea and Charles Prins, Teresa and Tim VanderZwaag, Jana and Marc Overway, Jeremy Fauble, Andrew Thomas, and Brian Thomas; 21 great nieces and nephews; an aunt, an uncle, and several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, at 11 AM at Lee Street Christian Reformed Church, 1261 Lee Street SW, Wyoming, with her pastor, Rev. Kent Rottman, officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-5 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW.
