Daniel Wayne Irvine

Daniel Wayne Irvine, age 56, of Kentwood, Michigan passed onto the 19th hole at his favorite golf course, Paiute, of Las Vegas, Nevada on September 22, 2021. Dan was born February 11, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Terry and Susie Irvine. He was a proud and loving husband of 33 years. He and Lisa held their 33rd wedding anniversary on September 17, 2021. Dan was also an extremely proud father of two US Airman, Matthew (Meghan) and Sean (Ashley) Irvine. However, Dan’s most known and honorable role was being a Poppy to his first granddaughter, Avery Grace. Dan passed looking forward to being a Poppy of two in April 2022.

Dan was preceded in death by his father Terry Irvine. Dan is survived by his wife Lisa, sons Matthew (Meghan) and Sean (Ashley), and granddaughter Avery Grace. Dan’s mother Susie Irvine and siblings Cindy (Darrin) DeBoer, Michael (Stephanie) Irvine and many nieces and nephews. Dan was loved and survived by Lisa’s parents Robert and Bonnie Markowski, and her siblings Steven (Elaine) Bishop, Patty (Marc) LaNore, Robert Markowski Jr. He will be terribly missed by his cousins John (Patti) Richardson and Steve (Carrie) Quigley, longtime high school friend Dave (Paula) Thwaites and closest friends Scott (Nancy) Knutson and many other close loved ones.

Dan was a dedicated employee of Lack Enterprises, Inc. for the last 20 plus years where he was the Director of Research and Development. Dan considered Lacks Enterprises, Inc. to be his second family, where he aspired to watch others learn and grow.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with visitation an hour before. Pastor Josh Mateer will be officiating.
