Daniel Huistra

Daniel Huistra, age 77, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Shirley Huistra; his brother, John Huistra; and his wife of 42 years, Andrea, who was the love of his life. He will be dearly missed and remembered by his children, Jill and Troy Austin, Karen and Derek Humke; and his grandchildren. 

Dan spent his career working at General Motors/Delphi. He enjoyed fishing, classic muscle cars, yardwork, coffee at Tim Horton’s, and spending time with his grandchildren and grand dogs. 

Because of Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, God’s gift of grace, His forgiveness of sins, and promise of eternal life, we are comforted and praise God that Dan is now healed and experiencing the glory of Heaven!

A private burial service will take place at a later date.
