Dani Lynne Brace

Dani Lynne Brace, age 68, of Belmont, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 11, 2025. Born to Dan and Jackie Nelson on June 15, 1956, she was a cherished wife, daughter, sister, auntie, stepmom, grandma, cousin and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dani was a proud graduate of Jenison High School and Cornerstone University. A longtime member of Jenison Bible Church and Calvary Church, Dani served as a small group leader and spiritual mentor, volunteering with the special needs program and on many missions trips. She experienced a successful career at Eaton Aerospace and was enjoying retirement to its fullest. Dani loved music, diamond art, her special pets Mysti, Alexis and Keets, and time spent with family whenever possible.

Dani was the cherished wife and best friend of Gary. Together they shared many years of memories and love. She is also survived by mother, Jacqueline; sister, Lori (Gerrit); stepdaughters, Jen (Brandon), Beth (Nate), Erin (Andy); nieces and nephews, Gerrit (Kristy), Catilin (Andrew), Lucas (Lila), Clay (Kerrie) and Rachel. She was treasured by her grandchildren, Ben, Jackson, Lexi and Ethan; special great-nephews and great-niece, Austin, Ryan and Hailey; and precious neighbor, Alyssa. Family was everything to Dani and she would proudly talk about them at every opportunity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm on April 27, 2025 at Sparta Center Church, 38 S. State St, Sparta, MI 49345. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Junior Achievement in Dani’s memory would be appreciated.

Above all, we are thankful to know that Dani is in Heaven, reunited with Our Savior, and we welcome knowing that we will see her again someday.
