Dale Vander Molen

Dale Vander Molen, age 75, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 12, 2026. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Beverly; children, Frederick and Jennifer Vander Molen, Benjamin and Stacy Vander Molen; grandchildren, Meredith, Maison, and Makayla; sister, Phyllis Reed; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Loretta Vander Molen; brothers, Gene and Vern Vander Molen. A graduate of Grandville High School, he worked as an electrician for nearly 60 years, taking great pride in his work, and also served in the Army at Brooke Army Medical Center during the Vietnam War. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Burial will take place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday from 10-11 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
