Cornelia “Conny” Zylstra

Cornelia “Conny” Zylstra, age 83, of Grandville, peacefully went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Roger; and brother, Jack Nieuwstraten. Conny is survived by her children, Betty and Dan Besteman, Terri and Scott White, James "Jeff" Zylstra, Doug and Ketzi Zylstra, Steve and Krisztina Zylstra; grandchildren, Dustin and Robyn Besteman, Mark and Stacey Besteman, Jeffrey, and Cody Besteman, Lori and Troy Grasman, Kelley and Alex DeJonge, Samuel, and Sebastian Zylstra, Joshua, Caleb, and Hannah Zylstra; great-grandchildren, Braedon, and Katelyn Besteman, Haley, and Jared Grasman, Paityn, Wyatt, and Dakota DeJonge; siblings and in-laws, Ann Nieuwstraten, Jim and Jean Nieuwstraten, Betty and Henry Elzinga; friend, Joan Medema; many nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Hanley Christian Reformed Church, O-372 Jackson, Grandville, with Rev. Douglas Fauble officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
