Cora Ann Bush

Cora (Rose) Bush went to her eternal peace in the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2016, in her one hundred first year. She was the beloved wife of Sidney Bush, who passed away on April 22, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Bush, as well as four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Bush of Port Hope, Michigan; daughter-in-law Ruth Bush of Grand Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Karen and Eric Walstra, Megan and David Diercks, Greg and Angie Bush, Jeffrey and Heather Bush, and Kristin and Derek Bolkema; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Lambert Rose. Cora, a member of First Reformed Presbyterian Church, enjoyed celebrating family occasions and home life, especially cooking, baking, sewing, and knitting. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5 at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with the Rev. Mitchell Dick officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral services. Interment will be on Tuesday at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Reformed Presbyterian Church.
