Constantin “Titi” Mohr

Constantin “Titi” Mohr, aged 81 of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Titi and his family moved from Romania to the U.S. on February 8, 1985 and first attended St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church until he helped to start and build the Romanian Orthodox church in 1995.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He made his own wine and spirits but most of all he loved his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Petre Cimpeanu, Florica Petre.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Angelica; children, Beatrice Mohr and Keith Schepers, George and Allison Mohr; grandchildren, Kailey and Josh Natte, Christina, Audrey, Morgan, Liliana, and Luca Mohr; brothers, Petre and Nela Mohr, Florin and Maria Mohr; sisters-in-law, Eleonora Petre, Maria Cimpeanu, Georgeta Petre; numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services for Constantin will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Annunciation Romanian Orthodox Church, 2573 Hillside Dr. NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Burial at Dormition Monastery in Jackson, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 5-7 pm and on Friday from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Romanian church.
