Claudia Jene Meade

Claudia Jene “Jeannie” Meade, age 89, of Wyoming went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; brothers, Kenneth Atkinson, and Roger Rouse. Jeannie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Craig and Mary Meade; grandchildren, CJ and Stacy Meade, Nicole and Ken Pickard; great grandchildren, Joe, Matt, Jake Meade, Cameron Pickard, and Londyn Pickard; sisters, Carol Grogan, Patty and Pete DePree; special niece, Missie and Rick Hutchinson; very special family friend, Bev Caruso; many nieces and nephews. Jeannie was very involved in her church, Open Bible Church and was a fantastic cook. She never made a bad meal. Her family was the most important to her and she cherished them above all else. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, June 29, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral chapel and on Monday from 10am until the time of the funeral service. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, June 30 at MKD Funeral Chapel, 4646 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood with Rev. Dan Spaulding officiating. Entombment will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Emmanuel Hospice.
