Clarence Van Dyken

Clarence Van Dyken, age 92, of Jenison, went to glory on Thursday, May 31, 2018. He lived a life of joyful and dedicated service to his Lord, his family, and his friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Louise. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Rick and Cathy Van Dyken, Ron Van Dyken, Randy and Cheryl Van Dyken; grandchildren, Rachael and David Carter, Michael and Sarah Van Dyken, Maria and Jeremy Li, Matthew and Alyssa Van Dyken, Stephanie and Jeff Hansen, Marc and Ashley Van Dyken, Eric Van Dyken and fiancee, Rachel Fahl; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah, Joel, Silas, Haley, Brady, McKenna, Zander, Paxton; brothers and in-laws, Gene Van Dyken, Jay and Shirley Van Dyken, Barbara Van Dyken, Mary Van Dyken, Larry Vredevoogd, Carrie and Steve Herrema; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, 5250 Byron Center Avenue SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Roger Groenboom officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW, and Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
